The surgery is participating in the national programme of post-graduate training for doctors by offering a placement in a GP practice to doctors who have graduated and completed at least one year as a hospital house officer. The aim of the placement is to enable these doctors to continue their development in understanding the management of unwell patients and to appreciate the way we look after our patients in the community. The doctor in training is supervised by either Dr Sian Thomas or Dr Steve Kirk-Smith both of whom have received specific training for this role.
The surgery is accredited on an annual basis; for more information, please contact KSS Deanery.
