There is always a doctor on call. When you telephone out of surgery hours, a recorded message will ask you to telephone NHS 111. Calls to this number are free and will be answered by fully trained advisors who will assess your symptoms, then either:
- Give advice
- Connect you directly to a health professional
- Send an ambulance to you if necessary
Please do not abuse the out-of-hours service. It is for emergencies only, ie those cases which cannot wait until the next surgery. If your enquiry is routine please phone the surgery during normal opening times.
The surgery holds extended hours surgeries for patients at the following times:
|Tuesday & Thursday:
||7.00am - 8.00am
||6.30pm - 7.30pm
We are unable to take telephone calls during the extended hours surgeries, so please make your appointment during normal surgery hours. Please be aware that we are unable to offer a nursing or phlebotomy service during these surgeries.
